Anyone know if you can enter a phone number manually for the TIVO to dial out?
The only local phone number I have for TIVO is in an adjacent city. Calls to that city are supposed to be toll free, but this particular prefix is not. Phone company says it has to do with contracts they have with the other phone company. So, what I want to do is enter a phone number into the TIVO that is a rarely used number at my workplace (in that adjacent city) and then just forward that phone to the TIVO number. Customer service at TIVO said I can enter a phone number where it askes for a dialing prefix. Can anyone confirm that I can do this? Thanks. Dan ------------------------ Yahoo!
