sorry if this has been discussed recently. what are tivo's latest plans for releasing an hd player? they used to say early 2005, then they said early 2006.
can someone explain to me why they haven't made an hd player yet? (except for the directv one.) surely the technology is there. and the market is there too, i would guess. same goes for replay, no hd version. is it pressure from advertisers? about a year ago we got an hdtv and, in order to record the hd shows, we were forced to abandon our tivo and use the scientific atlanta travesty instead. (it is the most horribly programmed piece of "professional" gear i have ever encountered.) i miss my tivo so much. thanks for the help. rick ------------------------ Yahoo!
