The only videos you can watch via the "pictures and videos" application are videos that you take with the Treo itself. In order to view MPEG, AVI, etc., formats, you need a seperate third-party application like the already mentioned TCPMP, Kinoma, or MMPlayer. And yes, there is a way to convert .tivo files via a program that was already mentioned in this discussion.
