Hello!
I wrote last week, about my machine that was going through the power
up cycle every 18 minutes or so. This was after a heavy electrical
storm through the area.
After unplugging it over night, it seemed fine. It is not networked.
Come to find out last night, it hasn't been able to "phone home" since
then. It says there's 'no dial tone'. Here's what I've done:
-checked the phone line to make sure there is a dial tone (there is)
-even subbed in a different phone line (no difference)
-adjusted settings according to the troubleshooting instructions
onscreen : not to check for dial tone (no help)
-even changed access numbers, although that one made no sense to
me. (still no connection).
Anything else I might could try?
