All standalone TiVo Series2, Series2DT, Series3, and TiVo HD models support TiVoToGo, which include 'TiVoToComeBack' - the ability to transfer video *to* the TiVo. The video must be in MPEG-2 format, the only format the TiVo plays at this time, but TiVo Desktop Plus will auto-transcode some other formats on the fly, such as MPEG-4/H.264, MOV, WMV, and others. Or you can use any conversion tool you'd like to do it yourself. DVD is MPEG-2, and you can transfer video extracted from the DVD to a TiVo for playback. But no DirecTiVo model has this ability active. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
