I've had the TV on since early this morning and the CC was working fine;
without turning the TV off, the CC went out again. I did
the Restart, and it came back. Having it on all day is not unusual, and never
had a problem till now with the CC. I hope this isn't
going to be a regular thing . So glad I learned about the reboot in case.

Thanks,
Sandra

I'd consider the possibility that the cable company somehow changed
something about the CC feed, and only after a reboot did tivo figure out
what to do with the change. Only a guess, as I know little of the CC feeds.

My comment about rebooting applies in general to anything computer based,
often if a computer is left on long periods of time, it can benefit from a
fresh start.
