You mean the green progress bar across the bottom of the screen? Nope. > I wish I could make it disappear altogether. If you hit 'Clear' it goes away. There used to be a backdoor to make it auto-clear faster, but I don't think it works anymore. I just tried it on my S3 and it didn't seem to make any difference. But you can try it - enter Select-Play-Select-Pause-Select while watching a recording or Live TV.
