I've been somewhat annoyed by how huge the jump back is, but not because
I also came from ReplayTV.

Since, on ReplayTV...I've always used the 3 minute skip and/or 30 second
skip to get through commercials. And, it is nice that it'll stop the
skip if the commercial edge is seen. Unlike the TiVo which skips 30
seconds always.

The Cox DVR also does jump back...though what gets me is that the amount
feels different. I guess I had gotten used to how the Cox DVR
worked.... Also the FF speed feels different. But, I think I'm getting
used to it....though I haven't been using the Cox DVR as much (though
that will change, since Fox HD is missing from the TiVo channel
listing....others are missing as well, but that's the most noticeable.)

One thing I haven't gotten used to is the lack of stop. Is there a
faster way to delete the program that I'm watching (than hitting the
TiVo button and then clearing it?) Though I do keep my list of shows at
lot less cluttered, because there's little reason to keep a show around
after I've watched it now.

OTOH, my ReplayTVs are probably starting to feel neglected....there are
nights where I'm only watching stuff from the TiVo....though its
probably the fact it has two tuners and there's a lot less on TV. Plus
I'm probably downloading too much stuff, too....
