This is a separate issue (to which address the auto-response should be
sent).

What I was referring to was whether the auto-responder should reply at
all when confronted with a mailing list message. The draft recommends
that it doesn't. Auto-responders like ``vacation'' do this. This is so
list admins don't get bombarded with auto-responses.

I still don't think the right solution is to start bouncing the mail,
but that's probably the list admin in me talking <wink>.
