Yes, it's similar, but I'm not nearly as opposed to that request as this one. > For me, the underlying issue is whether I can reach a stage of > comfort that allows me never to look at the tmda-pending queue. Indeed, this is Nirvana. A new TMDA user who has never used extension addresses will need to monitor his pending queue for some time until all automated mailings can be diverted away from his 'bare' address (see my previous message in this thread). Once this happens, the only messages that hit TMDA will be spam or messages from humans who can respond to a confirmation request if need be. If you use 'dated' addresses as recommended in the FAQ, those humans should only be senders whom you've never corresponded with before, and who have mailed you out of the blue, or replied to your 'dated' address after it has expired. Within this small group, how many are not going to confirm out of spite or confusion? In my experience, very, very few. So, at this point, I think you can stop browsing your pending queue on a regular basis, as that tiny minority of messages is simply not worth it. _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
