For the mail to go through, it needs to be TO the dated address, not FROM
it.  You send from the dated address so that people can reply TO it without
confirmation.

I wonder if there could be a rule for this in the outgoing filter.
Something like:

to [EMAIL PROTECTED] tag
   to dated

That seemed to work for me.  I'm on my whitelist, so it wasn't FROM a dated
address, but it did send it TO the dated address.
