The dated address wasn't invalid.  It was on the From, which is the
address people will use to reply to your email.  It wasn't on the
envelope recipient (usually the same as To, except in the case of spam
or forwarding), which is the address TMDA looks at for incoming mail
to determine if it should just pass the message through.

In other words, if you send your mail *to* a dated address,
tmda-filter will pass it through directly.  If you send mail to an
address that is not explicitly allowed in your filter, the fact that
it is *from* a dated address is meaningless.

As an example, you sent your message to tmda-users, which is protected
with TMDA, with a dated From address.  That doesn't mean that the list
will automatically let your mail through.  It means that, when people
reply directly to you, your TMDA will let their replys through.  It
works the same way when you send mail to yourself.
