Can't his program look underneath the hood when trying to determine whether the message is an auto-response/bounce or not? TMDA for example includes the header:
Auto-Submitted: auto-replied
Which marks it as an auto-generated message. Some MTAs like Sendmail also include this header in their bounces.
I emailed the guys at nortel about this previously - and am still waiting for a response, if I get one. I would think that they'd pick up on the whole c/r system in general - but he refers to TMDAs challenge as a "rejection" notice.
More educating to do, it seems.
