While on this topic, also check out SpamBayes[1] from the Python developers. This is what I'd use if I used a content filter. It has an improved classification algorithm and provides not just a 'spam' and 'ham' rating, but also an 'unsure' rating, for those messages where it can't work out how to rate the message; which might be prefect candidates to pass along to TMDA for final verification.
