Hmmmm. I've corresponded with someone who finds basic C/Rs
"extremely" annoying (his word, not mine). He refuses to respond to
them on principle. He claims he is not alone. He would probably find
a more elaborate response requirement even more annoying.
I solved this by combining TMDA with spamassassin, so that they only recieve a confirmation message if it scores higher than 3.0, which is pretty rare for legit mail, but a very low score with regards to spam, it seems to work pretty well so far and negate the worst problems of each system.
