OK, I've set up tmda-ofmipd according to the howto on the tmda website. I've set up the tofmipd file containing my username:passwd in ~user/.tmda/tofmipd. I've configured my MUA, which is Sylpheed to use SMTP AUTH with CRAM-MD5, Port 8025 and the same username and password that you find in the tofmipd file. However when I try to send an email, I get:
* Connecting to SMTP server: open2web.com ... ** Can't connect to SMTP server: open2web.com:8025 ** Error occurred while connecting to server
The domain open2web.com is not reachable at all from my end. I can not telnet to 110, 25 or 443. It gives "connection failed". I think your problems go beyond TMDA.
