After reading this, I went ahead and started tmda-ofmipd as suggested. Lo and behold
it worked. I think what threw me is that when I started it, as in
$ tmda-ofmipd -d -f
It gave me the following feedback:
tmda-ofmipd started at Wed Dec 10 18:10:50 PST 2003
Listening on otto.open2web.com:8025
This lead me to think it was listening on open2web.com.
tmda-ofmipd -h says that the default (without the -p argument) is FDQN:8025. In fact
the only difference when starting it with the -p <host:port> is that it started like
this:
$ tmda-ofmip -d -f -p open2web.com:8025
tmda-ofmipd started at Wed Dec 10 18:18:49 PST 2003
Listening on open2web.com:8025
Anyway, it works. Thank you all for your suggestions.
