Jason, that's good news that it's supposed to be fast. I'm sure I'm just missing a setting. Perhaps the sendmail/smtp setting that Cory was speaking about. I'm not certain where that would be configured though. It's a fresh 1.0 installation, so it sounds like it should default to the proper one.

How fast is the processor on your machine? How much slower per message is mutt with tmda-sendmail compared to mutt without?
