Hmmm, perhaps I installed python2.2 packages from sid -- but it looks to me like I have 2.2 installed: # dpkg -s python2.2 Package: python2.2 Status: install ok installed ... [ As a side note, what is peculiar to me is that when I went to upgrade my python packages today (because of DSA 159-2), I was offerred upgrades for the python2.2 packages in addition to the 2.1 set -- even though my /etc/apt/sources.list only lists woody...is this normal behavior? ] I suppose that if 2.2 is not available to woody systems, users of such systems are out of luck w.r.t. certain recent tmda features. Or does: > I'll fix the next version of the package so that it can still be run > w/ python 2.1. In my rush to close that bug I forgot that people > would probably be downloading the sid package to run on woody. mean that you'll be patching tmda (in a pythonesque-sense) to run under python 2.1?
