I too have had little or no pain in a year..just had the ache of muscles in the rehab hosp.and the pain killers they gave me never worked...massage and muscle rub worked better and of course working the muscle more. Other than the banding and pins and needles which is pretty tolerable most times, I have no pain.

It's nice to hear from a TMer who isn't experiencing too much pain. I hope it remains this way for you.
I requested pain meds at three weeks after onset of TM. My pain was immediate, but I refused to admit it. I put all my thoughts into regaining movement and expected the pain too subside. I asked for pain relief meds at three weeks, additional meds at 5 weeks, a change for something stronger at 12 weeks and so on. This morning I'm suffering from a busy weekend! Oh, the woes of TM.

My question is....is that the way everyone starts out and then the pain comes later? Does it make a difference where your lesions are? Mine is at T8-T10. Should I be expecting the hammer to fall any day?
