Hi Heather, I got rid of my walker as I haven't used it in so long (and it didn't have a seat anyway). At times I've been so much better, I didn't even need the cane. But recently (again!) I feel like I've regressed! I even thought about it (the old walker) in the back yard today, when I went out to check my plants! And you do make a good point - about being able to look up and talk to people! As it is (unless it's a really good day) I'll stop and maybe even put my hand on something to be sure I'm stable, before I look up and answer, if someone talks to me while I'm walking.
