That¹s quite a dramatic wash-out!!

Just a few hours and it is gone from your system. At least the Lyrica
(pregabolin) lasts until I rise in the morning. I now take 900mg/day of
that.

I take 600mg (or 900mg if needed) of Gabapentin [Neurontin] along with one
(or two if needed) Hydrocodone APAP 7.5 325 TA [Norco] four times a day
(every six hours). When I was first dx'd, my neuro had me on this same
dosage, but at only three times a day. I was taking them after breakfast,
mid afternoon and at bedtime. But by the time I woke up (which was 8-12
hours later), I hurt so bad and had such bad spasms, I could barely make it
to the bathroom, let alone dress myself and go downstairs to start breakfast
and take my next dose. I asked my doc if I could take an additional dose -
spacing them out 6 hours apart, keeping a more even amount in my system at
all times. This has worked pretty well for me for 3 years now. Depending on
how strenuous my day has been, I start hurting pretty bad around about an
hour before I'm due for my next dose, but on ordinary days, it's not so bad.
