Hi Oliver,

"tntnet --version" is a good idea. I will add it.

The version number is currently available using "tntnet-config
--version". This shell script is generated from autoconf from
tntnet-config.in.

The version number can be found it configure.ac. I haven't obviously
updated it for ages.

I really do not want to bind the build process to git nor do anything
non standard (according to autotools) without a very good reason.
Following the standard helps packager and experienced users.

With cxxtools you get the version number using "cxxtools-config
--version". Since cxxtools is a library (or multiple libraries), the
script is the only place, where we can get the version number from.
