<< May I know your idea about the "better model of FDP that reaches the really-real starving population that cannot earn its own food ever"? ... Coming to the point, I do not mind people objecting something. But instead of giving a vague thought on 'something will be better', it would be good if people take pains on how we can go about!! At least think in those lines so that they will get with some options. >>
Good question, Prasanthi! I had been thinking of a "better model of FDP" ever since I wrote the first e-mail about this topic! Of course, I had been! Yet, I couldn't come up with an alternate model - I don't call it "better" yet - until ...I saw this line in your e-mail: "People talk about education and providing necessities to children, but can leave people hungry!!" Can FDP be a tie-up with other groups, grow larger in scale and reach, and be implemented in schools? Why or why not? I'd like members to ponder over this a minute and think further. BTW, I never said SDP has got something in it to do with "education [or] providing necessities to children". Like Prasad gaaru wrote earlier, and like I state my personal ambition for the society as providing "Education for the literates", education is something else and is not necessarily taught in and/or attributable to an institutional outfit. Neither FDP nor SDP call any classification by age group or literate-level, of course, and I don't intend to suggest binding them one group anyway. Let's find the group that needs it most. Probably this "target audience" is defining the "goodness of a *DP model" for me, which is why I think FDP in its current form is not as effective or "fascinating" - thanks to Prasanthi for the apt word - to me. NaChaKi PS: My thoughts are still nascent on all these, and I need input. When I wrote to the group to suggest a better model, it doesn't mean that I consider myself Akbar paadushaa who calls out "Start the show" with a wave of his hand! It's because I can't think of any model myself and I need some help in forming my ideas. My apologies to anyone I might have hurt with unclear communication. (And, no clarifications or apologies-to-apologies or explanations or discussions of any kind on my apologies, please. Let's cut all the "unnecessary" stuff out. My apologies are essentially because I erred, and not because someone felt bad.)
