Prasanthi/Divya to a major extent (not fully). The point of
disagreement is saying a NO. I feel we can say a NO though we may not
mean it. Anyway, Prasanthi has already mentioned to him that there is
no MAD meeting now and hence she is not in a positon to do much right
at this point.
> Now let's think medically. Raju has developed some throat lumps and
needs medication which will cost about Rs.12000. Man, this is not a
small amount and to write the prescription of such a value, the
physician must have seen some real cause. So what I propose is, call
Raju to Hyderabad. I want to get him checked by a cardiologist and one
nephrologist here. (For the information of many of our members, I work
in a reasonably good hospital in Hyderabad and my hospital has got
vast experience in transplants. The only sad part is this is corporate
hospital and the cost of treatment is a little on the higher side). I
have a close friend working here as a cardiologist and one good
nephrologist. So I want this guy to be seen by these 2 doctors, take
their opinion. Then some treatment will come into picture. At that
time I will try to generate some physician's sample drugs for Raju or
at worst case, if we have to buy it, we will do so, but from a dealer
and not a retailer because it will be less expensive. And as Divya
mentioned, we need not give them the medicines in bulk. Instead we can
buy for a week/fortnight depending on the cost of the drugs.
> About the job for his father: What is his qualification? What sort
of job he can do? I will try to get him something in this hospital in
case he is suitable. He just can't keep on saying that there is no
work or something.
> And forget about his promise to refund the money in two instalments.
Think practically. Assume he won't refund the money. If he at all
refunds something, its our good luck. But I don't think so.
> And this is also not a very bad idea to run a check on his
dossier/profile for criminal records. If we put him into a job and
something happens willfully negetive, then we will lose our ground in
future while seeking favour for such cases.
> So action plan: Please let Raju come for a check up and atleast let
his father provide us the prescription/whatever paper he has related
to this case till date. We will tell that we wnt to arrange medicines
from dealer at cheaper rate, so we need the papers as a dealer won't
sell anything directly to us without authentic prescription.
