Hello Prasanthi,

Supporting children for pursuing education is a very
good idea. But to what extent we can help them? you
said many of them are below poverty line in that case
I think we should have complete idea of what can be
done.

Categorising - whom we should support?

I strongly feel this should not be done on marks
basis. I feel only criteria, is their determination to
pursue studies.

After realising this we need to figure out to what
extent they need support in order to pursue their
studies? And to what extent we can help them? This
will be specific to each and every case.

I too think money wont be problem.
More over this can be extended not just for children,
but also for higher studies. Like the case of the
girl who got IIT rank but not in a position to join.
In this case the girl is extremely intelligent,
completely extraordinary. But there are many people
who are very talented, may be not successful. I feel
we need to recognise and help such people too.

With Regards
Gopi Krishna
