Hello Friends, This is regarding our strategy on medical cases:
1. Blr Case - Eye Problem: Coming to eye case of Blr, we haven't taken it up under group's front but take it as a project for individual contributions. Ismail garu and Prasad Charasala garu expressed their interest in this case. We will give that amount initially. Additionally we will try to get the support of local NGOs and also offer our help in getting the news published in the local news paper. 2. Chennai Case - Heart Problem: Arun has to visit the orphanage yet. The amount is less here. We already have forwarded to friends in Chennai. We hope that someone comes forward. I will keep following up, once Arun updates us. We haven't yet given any money in this case. 3. Suchorita Bera Case - Heart Problem: The condition of the baby would be critical if not operated within 4 months. Anil got the tests done in Narayana Hrudayalaya, Blr. They even approached AIIMS also. Sathya Sai Hospital, Blr, came forward to do the operation free of cost but the cost of medicines are so high and also they didn't give any date for the operation. This case is forwarded to us through UVNK Raju garu of WWHY. He received that from few members in Blr. I mailed to all of them asking for support that we (TMAD group) cannot handle the case individually. The amount with us would be Rs. 50k. If we spend Rs. 20k on education (over all), we would be left with Rs. 30k. Out of that we can give Rs. 20k to this case. We already approached Kinnera Foundation. Though they do not consider out of state cases, they decided to give Rs. 20,000 (may be as we asked them). They will pay directly to the hospital. So we have to approach NH Charity and see if they can help. I do not think so that they can consider the case for just Rs. 40,000. We have to keep in mind the post operation medication. We are sure that we cannot support. We have to see if Sri Kamal Bera (father of Suchorita Bera) can mobilise funds for that. As of now he is left with no penny. We also mailed to one of my friends, Prathima, to contact her doctor friend who did his M.B.B.S. in AIIMS. She is not in touch with him. She said she will trace out. 4. The case referred by Vani - Bhubhaneswar I assume that this operation too needs lot of money. But here also there are other sources trying to help. If at all our group wants to proceed in one or two of these cases, we have to raise project specific funds. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
