Thanks Suresh. The new page looks very good. Please give a link to
the url of the profile or post the same in our Web page.

People can get to know about Capt. Saurav Kalia in detail. I
organized the info. so that it would be easy for anyone to
understand him.

Friends,

I mailed to Uma Sudhir. Expecting a reply from her. We will meet
once we get her appointment.

Also if we get a go ahead from Dr. Kalia and Vaibhav Kalia, we can
register a Web site in his name so that it would act as a base for
anyone to look to and to know the latest updates.

Few more points on what we want?

1. To know what govt. has done so far.

Based on the details sent by Dr. Kalia, it is evident that due to
bilateral agreement with Pakistan govt. our country cannot approach
Amnesty.

Coming to why govt. has not approached ICJ is that Pakistan is
refusing to accept that Pakistan soldiers captured and tortured our
troop. They are saying 'Mujahideens'. This is also mentioned in one
of the communiques.

On a personal level also Dr. Kalia cannot approach Amnesty or UN
Human Rights Commission as the detailed post mortem report was not
given to him (again it is based on army rules it seems). I think now
he has the copy.

2. We want govt. to find and provide all the necessary evidence to
prove the case.

3. We want a case to be filed in ICJ and also the Pakistani soldiers
who are responsible must be punished. (If they are not died in the
war). (I remember very well reading about a case filed by an Indian
(may be an NRI too) in ICJ on the incident. I think that person have
won the case too. What is the output and what happened afterwards I
do not know. It seems that though they are concerned of the issue
they wanted India and Pakistan to discuss and solve the issue.
Please google for the details.)

4. On individual level, we will approach the worldwide Human Rights
Organizations.

=========================================
Corollary:

1. To put forward the case of BSF Jawans tortured by Bangladeshis.
2. To release the Indian PoWs languishing in Pakistan jails.

Thank you.

with regards,
Prasanthi.
