I said why shud the parents send their children to be soldiers, if Govt gives this back for the sacrifices soldiers make. I never said/meant India is in dearth of Patriots.
Parents of these soldiers are infact a step further to patriotism, tht inspite of incidents such as these they have not taken a backstep in letting go their sons to borders. I am sure many expect nothing from Govt, keeping in mind all these events. It takes a lot more than courage & being patriotic to do this. Tht kind of a feel for the country is in abundance with us - lucky us all. Wud've been a diff story today, otherwise. I had written my end of the thoughts in the previous mail, and it was more inclined towards me & my way of looking at things. I wouldnt' be a happy parent to let go of a son who wudnt' be backed up by its nation totally, is what I meant. I cannot luv my homeland any less than what u do Prasanthi :), if not more. Amma amme, kottinaa thittinaa thosesinaa pattinchukokapoina :) - This is a very befitting example here. We cherish the sense of patriotism a pinch more out here than many back home, believe me. :) Divya On 10/6/07, ulprasanthi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Divya, > > India is not in dearth of Patriots.
