I didn't get time to go through wiki page. Anyways I support Suresh's views in this regard.
This is a highly sensitive issue. We need to be ready with all facts. For this we need to do enough research. I could get the URL of the RTI act with respect to Military. But couldn't go through and I don't think so that our reading would make any impact. This is my plan of action: 1. To follow up with Colonel and Major to explain us about the Military Manual and other things involved and under which clauses we can file the RTI. We can file anyway but there might be chances that it gets rejected. --- Will give them a call tonight. 2. We have to finalize the Web site name and should start posting the details there. --- We have to keep a deadline for this. 3. I spoke with Nagendra garu. I am really thankful and grateful to him for giving me one and half hour in his hectic schedule. He said he will help us in filing the RTI. He told me few points which I do not want to share here. But I will share with the volunteers who wish to be a part of this endeavour. Please mail to me offline those who are seriously interested to pursue this case no matter what. -- I think we need at least ... at least ....... one month to do a dedicated study. >From today the details regarding this issue will not be shared in our group except to the volunteers who are willing to take part in this effort. I hope that members give this a serious thought and commit. Those who are not bothered if we get an answer or not, only be with me. I am not sure that this effort will be resulted in success. (Though personally I feel that we can get success very strongly.... may be lack of experience and exposure). So......... this is the last mail on this subject in the group. I request the volunteers to please mail me offline, so that we will communicate with the group concerned instead of to the entire group. One thing is sure....... I am going to work for this cause.....
