Our six member team went on a jolly trip on river Godavari to
Bhadrachalam. Surrounded by the holy river and lush green forests, it
was a fantastic view all around us.

On our way back to home, we stopped at a beautiful peninsula called
Kolluru. While we were having a moon-light dinner on the banks of
Godavari, 120 school children on the top of a hill just nearer to us
were struggling with the dark night.

Kolluru Ashram School is a government lead residential school for the
tribes in the hills. 120 is a pretty good number, and as any other
government school, this one is also suffering with support. Keeping
apart the scarce financial help they are getting, the land itself is
all isolated from the world.

There is no electricity , no communication, except the tranquil river
sound.

The children need light to study at nights. They needs some more
clothing. They also need medical aid from time to time.

I am planning a trip to this most beautiful place craving for help in
the coming couple of weeks.

Interested to join me? I will be taking clothing for the students.
Let me know your plans.

Awaiting your associationÂ…
