Hello Friends, For this project, Venkat garu has contributed 300$ (for blankets) and Anji garu 250$ (for clothes). In rupees it is Rs. 11679 and Rs. 9732.50 @ 38.93per dollar. So total Rs. 21, 411.50. If we add Rs. 88.50, it would be Rs. 21, 500.
For blankets, it did cost Rs. 10,440 + 100 rs. freight charge. (We have sent the new blankets itself as our members couldn't get the BDP blankets from Suresh garu). I didn't get the details of the cost on the paint and stencil. For clothes, the actual cost is way more than our contribution. But we decided to give whatever we got as contribution. Dr. Sundar himself arranged for packing and transport of the blankets, clothes and monkey caps. These details are also yet to be known. So let us tell to Kiran that we can contribute Rs. 21, 500 overall and as we have already spent Rs. 10, 540 and odd, we can give the remaining amount to him. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
