Mamata Pratibha Poshak - A Student Scholarship initiative Pratibha Poshak is a guiding light to help meritorious students belonging to the financially challenged students in continuing their education.
We would like to extend this opportunity to all of you, to become a part of this noble cause and help to contribute in the following ways. · Financial contribution towards students Sponsorship. · Participation in home visits for selection of students. · Recommend candidates fitting the criteria. You can also nominate a student from your village/town/city. Please provide the information after referring to the documents attached. Student Eligibility: Academic program Eligibility criteria 10th to Intermediate 85% Intermediate to Graduation 85% Graduation to Post graduation 75% At this time we are accepting candidates only from Andhra Pradesh. The other criteria being the annual family income should be less than INR 36000 and academic criteria as mentioned (Note: Last year was the first year we have launched this program and we went with a slightly lower gating criterion of 75% for all courses, since we were overwhelmed with applications we want to raise the bar this time and focus on quality. Candidates who were nominated last year and were in receipt of the scholarship will also be eligible if they meet the revised eligibility) ü How many candidates would be sponsored? We are planning to sponsor 50 100 students this year. We may sponsor more if more funds are available for this initiative ü What are the courses that can be sponsored? We shall sponsor Intermediate, BCA, BE, B.Sc, MSc, B.Com, M.Com, MBBS courses. This is only a guide line and exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis. The amount of scholarship will be decided on the current tuition charges in Govt institutions and on the amount of contributions we garner. ü Would all the qualifying candidates be given scholarships? If there are more candidates who have qualified than we intend to give scholarships, a merit list will be prepared and scholarships disbursed accordingly ü What if the candidate has already joined a course or Candidate is not yet joined. Both of them can apply. If a candidate is selected we will give the scholarship to the candidate limited to the amounts mentioned in the flier. For the one who has not yet joined, we will give the scholarship only after admission. ü Where do I give the application? You can send either softcopy or Hardcopy. Softcopy can be mailed to Hyd_mamata_core within Infosys email system or [EMAIL PROTECTED],[EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] from internet.. Hardcopy can be given to Security at B3 and B19. ü When is the last date? When will the verification start? When will the scholarships be given? Last date to submit applications is 15th of July. Verification will start the following week. Scholarships will be ü given before end of August. ü What about candidates who received scholarship last year? They are eligible to apply this year too. They will be measured on the revised gating criteria. ü How do I transfer my contribution?
