3 years back I purchased this house at Motinagar. I got it duly registered. But even till today I get the Municipal Tax in the name of Previous House Owner only. I get the Power bill also in thier name. My water bill also is in the old name. I enquired why so?? They say I have to go to another office Registrar in Moosapet pay 2000 Mamul, 2000 NSC and get it transferred to my name. This office is different from the old one at which I registered.
I am in Motinagar and I have to go to Sanath Nagar for getting my Power bill to my name. I need to go to Erragadda Water works office to get my Water bill changed into my name. Recently they announced thru a Municipal communication that if Power bill is not paid, water Nalla connection will be removed. If property tax is not paid power will be disconnected. See the magic here, when they need it for their convenience everything is connected. But when you need the service, they say each one is individual. One lays the road, the other ones digs it open next day itself. The magic of the British Rule and the slavery is still flowing throgh our blood. We at our office even need to work to their US timings (12 noon to 3 AM) , thier holiday (Summer holiday earlier for us now is Winter vacation in December - all the top company people make it convenient to enjoy year end till first week of Jan). We will have Holiday on thier Independence Day but we work on Jan 26th and Aug 15th, Oct 2nd. We need to change ourselves, our thinking, be independent.
