Friends, Santhosh from UK forwarded Rs. 1500 to my account. I will be getting it it by tomorrow. As promised we can give money to Karthik during Aug 15 weekend.
Karthik mentioned about his roommate, Srinivas, who is also in dire need of help. Suresh Ediga's friend Krishna Kotha came forward to help Srinivas by providing interest free loan throughout his education so that Srinivas can repay back once he gets a job. This is under process. As soon as Srinivas forward his details, Krishna will put forward it to his friends and see to that Srinivas gets the timely support. I will write a detailed mail about FreshBrains programme, our Blr member Adi's brainchild. We will be discussing with the Principal of Narayana Engg. College about this concept in the coming weekend. Why I mentioned about it here is that I got an idea to implement this in Karthik's college as well. I rang to Karthik. They are having mid exams (internals) from Aug 19th to 21st. Their Sem exams are in November. He told that as this is new college which is 2 yrs old, they have good support from the staff. I want Adi to talk to Karthik after 22nd of this month and see to that we will provide help to the students in Karthik's college as well. Meanwhile Karthik will keep ready, the info. of other needy students too. When we go we can talk to all of them. Actually Murthy garu and Rao garu mailed the details of some of their friends in and around Vijayanagaram. I haven't yet forwarded those details to Karthik. Will do so in the coming weeks. Feeling very energized after getting to know Pradeep and Krishna Kotha. Through them we are able to reach some causes. The purpose behind the group is being served one more time.
