Just like RTI, we can use this portal too to submit our grievances
directly to the ministry concerned.
I have a friend who works in state Information commissioner office(RTI).
When I met him the other day, I didscussed with him regarding RTI and he is
of the opinion that people are fully misusing it though its very good act.
In his words, using it to get irrelevant information and that too asking for
as much as possible like, give me details of all panchayats having so and so
infrastructure with deatils and dates and so many other options is useless
he feels. I too most of the times feel that its not being used for right
purposes except by a few.
What the user does with the information is more important. If he just does
not use it for any development purpose, its no use. Just because we have 10
rupees, we cannot ask for such a huge info and just leave the info.
So we better ask these miniostries for something really useful for tha
society in this portal.
At least now we have some portal of this sort to directly speak to the
government and track the status of our submission too. Lets use it for the
Best.
