We need to have an mutual understanding with Contractor, need to be careful here. We should not believe Contractors here. We had a very bad experience earlier. Let us not pay everything at once. Please get the receipt whatever we paid as of now and also let us put everything in record and inform contractor that we will pay same once we receive funds from Govt. These are only my thoughts keeping in view of our previous experience with contractor/Govt agencies. Please keep in mind while taking decision on same. SSA fund should reach our TMAD account and then we pay the same to contractor. Contractor was requesting me to provide some additional amount (he was actually asking for another 90k, to make the total payment to 2 Lakhs). As we anyway need to pay 18k towards the classroom construction as our contribution (20% amount ->108k total). So I thought let us pay 20k (making it round figure for now and adjust the 2k additional amt from SSA fund to TMAD account). Hope it is ok for our members. I didn't commit any additional amount to contractor, but only said 'will try based on the availability'.
