Team, We, in bangalore, started giving out Certificates instead of gifts reducing the budget a lot. We got it for Rs 1.75 per certificate thus helping us to give for every participant a certificate.
Also, other thing which I would like to start here is instead of costly gifts, we can gift them something like seedlings which we can as well ask them to plant and take care. We can give all of the students along with certificates. We can give them a small session on importance of trees and do it. I see hyderabad city needs much concentration on environmental issues. Also, if interested, you can gift them playcards or some kind of posters prepared by disabled people. The posters should have information on cleanliness or plantation or wisdom related quotes. In this way, we help the disabled by buying their posters and also teaching the kids some important things. So i short, every sudents gets a cerificate, some seeds and posters irrespecive of first or second or just contestant thus encouraging everyone.
