So it's most likely the kernel or an os library for Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 2.1 that is used by java that causes the problem.
As I don't have any experience with Red Hat I can't provide any help in this environment. - Are there updates to the kernel or the core libraries ? > -----Original Message----- > From: Thomas Chua [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 9:42 AM > To: Tomcat Users List > Subject: RE: [OT] JAVA_OPTS in catalina.sh > > > I tried with both (build 1.4.2_04-b05, mixed > mode)and(1.4.2-b28 mixed mode) > and under Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 2.1(panama) > both VM crashes. > Using Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (Enigma) with (1.4.2-b28 > mixed mode) works fine. > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
