I'm not sure what your point is here. You can have as many instances of Tomcat as you like, using at least two approaches. One is completely separate installations, i.e. different CATALINA_HOME/BASE for each one. The other is one CATALINA_BASE and different HOMEs. That way you can either share or separate the parsers.
