Good evening (here)... how's Monday going? What platform are you running Apache and Tomcat on, and will they be on the same or different machines? Nothing wrong with 'dummies' doing this sort of stuff if the documentation was okay; how many people know how are a car or TV works and they're used every day by just about everyone. Norm
