I made changes in r4992 due to the contents page for 1.8.x docs possibly being too scary for new users and being a little too verbose. So the new default contents page is the shortened version found at htdocs/1.8/index.html.en, and the longer version can be found at htdocs/1.8/index-long.html.en. The longer version is basically identical to what we had as the contents page before r4992.
Feel free to revert if you feel the older layout was better. I will be starting work on tomoyo 2.3 docs tomorrow.
