Greetings from yet another newbie,
I can't seem to get a floppy that will actually boot. I've tried
installing both 1.7.118 and 1.7.134. And following a hint in the list
archives, I tried the unpack; buildit; install. In each case, the
installation to the floppy seems to be successful, but the floppy won't
boot all the way. It loads the kernel image and starts the boot process,
which seems normal enough til it gets to the line which starts with SLIP.
At that point it just hangs.
No doubt I'm missing something obvious. Could someone give me a hint?
