Thanks for the feedback. This shoots my theory that it was happening 
only on specific hardware. But it's definitely related to 10.1.4 since 
it started showing up the same week the update came out.

Also, I just posted 1.097 which contains an experimental workaround for 
the kernel panic. The problem appears to be related to multi-threaded 
serial IO. So in 1.097 if Tonto detects a Mac OS, it drops back to 
scanning ports one at a time. This might add a couple of seconds to the 
"Locate Pronto" routine, but if it avoids the panics it's worth it.

If any brave souls experiencing the panics wishes to try it out, please 
let me know.

The cut/paste issue looks to be another bug in Swing. I'm trying to 
track it down now and see if there are any workarounds. I hope to get 
this working for 1.098.

Do you have a recommendation for alternatives to PayPal?
