Geoff, Bummer. The only thing I can think to try involves Tonto. Tonto should have saved the serial port info from the last time you used it which makes using "undead pronto" feasible.
First, grab 1.098. Launch it and load up a saved ccf (preferrably a copy of one you were using). Then select Utilities->Undead Pronto. The instructions are on the screen (it involves the paperclip). When you initiate the "undead" process, the first thing it does is "Look for Boot Codes". If the progress meter gets beyond 0% then it detected the boot codes. If not, then something really low-level is hosed. Also, please crank up your debug levels before running this. It may or may not yield additional clues, but it makes it possible to use Utility->Email logfile. stewart Geoff Robinson wrote: > Hello Stewart > > I have 1.08 loaded at the moment but I've had a major disaster this weekend. > > Because I haven't been able to use Tonto on the Mac I decided to try > ProntoEdit on my wife's laptop (Windows 2000 Pro) I don't know how I've > managed it but I've killed my Pronto completely.
