It depends. A file can be moved from closed->src for a few reasons. We can move history as long as the history is okay. Ex: a driver that had never undergone review, and has now finally been cleared can keep its history. Or if Sun signs a new contract with a company that allows us to open source the driver, for example.

If, on the other hand, the driver is reengineered without the encumbering code, then we want to make sure we don't carry the history forward since the code delta will have the offending code.
