Is the problem just that it looks funny, or are there other issues?
The one issue I can think of with broken-up changesets is when someone
is looking for "the fix for CR 1234567". That is, they might stop when
they've found the first such changeset in the log, not realizing that
there are others.
It's mainly that. The potentially confusing history is more damaging
than not having any history (IMHO).
