Just one of those tiny things immensely important to my personal well-being - 
I desperately hope that noone considers to replace vi with vim, or have vim 
installed under the name vi. 

I'm perfectly happy seeing them coexist, as long as I get to decide which 
editor to run for myself.

ps: vi does have more than one level of undo, but those bufferes need to be 
addressed. 
     To me, irritation has always worked the other way round - countless times
     I've been bitten by a vim masking as vi that went on unravelling changes 
     further and further when all I wanted was to undo the undo.
