This investigation is for the use of individual projects on opensolaris.org, which will have some number of members that have very limited access to Sun-internal bug tracking systems. At present, the feature would be used until a project targeting a specific consolidation integrates, and then they would use the system used by that consolidation. (Although really the limitations you are mentioning are distribution-specific.) This situation is therefore equivalent to what has been done in the past, although the previous practice had little to no standardization.
Perhaps I'm confused because I've always worked in third world underfunded consolidations and projects which had no choice but to use the same bug tracking system all the time, and didn't have this notion of pre-integration project bug trackers being different. Why would you want to keep that history in somewhere different and lose it on integration? -- -Alan Coopersmith- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering _______________________________________________ tools-discuss mailing list tools-discuss@opensolaris.org
