Seriously, if you've got a Linux fetish, use Linux.  If you're going to be
offended by a simple and completely changeable choice someone made, then
you have other problems.

Nevertheless, it probably makes sense to just throw in the GUI.  The only
downside I can think of is that if you've chosen to minimize your system by
removing X, or GNOME, then vim won't work anymore.  I think that's a shame,
but since I believe that including the GUI is inevitable, we'll just have
to deal with that.  And perhaps work on making the GUI dynamic in the same
way that the language bindings ought to be.

Sorry; I meant to say that that was what I'd planned on making explicit in
the case.  But without having to list every single interface individually.

<shrug> I don't think there's a huge difference for an opensource project
like this anyway, so if you think that's more appropriate, I'm fine with
that.
